Limited warranty
ALUMINUM OR STAINLESS STEEL LIGHTING FIXTURES
Lite the Nite warranty to the original end user purchaser (herein referred to as “Buyer”) for aluminum or stainless-steel
landscape lighting fixture housings, and electrical/mechanical components covers any defect in material and workmanship for a
period of five (5) years from the date of Buyer’s purchase (the invoice date).
BRASS LIGHTING FIXTURES
Lite the Nite warranty to the Buyer for brass landscape lighting fixture covers any defect in material and workmanship for a
period of fifteen (15) years from the date of Buyer’s purchase. BST Series step light warranty covers any defect in material and
workmanship for a period of ten (10) years. Applied finishes, electrical and mechanical components warranty is ten (10) years.
Please note brass finishes will change color (patina) over time and is not considered a defect.
POWER SUPPLY
Lite the Nite warranty to the Buyer for DC power supplies, covers any defect in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of Buyer’s purchase. The external photo eye warranty is three (3) years. Warranty to the buyer for AC transformers covers any defect in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of Buyer’s purchase. Replaceable Control Timers have a three (3) year warranty from date of purchase. Buyer may be responsible for any shipping expenses related to replacements.
LED BULBS AND LED ARRAYS LIGHTING FIXTURES
Lite the Nite warranty to the Buyer for use lighting LED bulbs and lighting arrays, covers any defect in material and
workmanship for a period of five (5) years or 30,000 hours (whichever comes first). BST Series step light LED warranty for array
covers any defect in material and workmanship for a period of ten (10) years or 60,000 hours (whichever comes first).
NOT COVERED:
Lite the Nite will not be responsible for damage or failure of the product(s) that results from external causes such as: acts of
nature; exposure to adverse or hazardous chemicals; external power surges: environmental conditions such as salt water or salt
air; vandalism; animal or insect activity; improper or unauthorized use, installation, alteration, maintenance or service;
accidents, abuse, or neglect; failure to abide by any product classifications or certifications, or failure to comply with any
applicable standards, codes, recommendations, product specification sheets, or instructions of Lite the Nite; any damage or
failure covered by insurance.
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT:
If the product(s) fail to comply with the terms of this Warranty, Lite the Nite, at its sole option, will repair or replace the
product(s) with similar or like equivalents to product(s). This Warranty extends only to the product(s) as delivered to the Buyer
and is for the sole and exclusive benefit of the Buyer of the product(s) at the original location. This Warranty may not be
transferred or assigned by the Buyer. Copy of the Buyer’s original invoice required to establish purchase date within warranty
period.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
The total liability of Lite the Nite on any or all claims of any kind shall in no event exceed the purchase price allocable to the
product(s) that give rise to the claim, and any such liability shall terminate upon the expiration of the warranty period specified
above. The warranty is in lieu of any other warranties, expressed or implied. Lite the Nite shall not be liable for indirect, special,
incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.
RIGHT TO MODIFY OR DISCONTINUE WARRANTY:
Lite the Nite reserves the right to modify or discontinue this Warranty without notice provided that any such modification or discontinuance will only be effective with respect to any product(s) purchased after such modification or discontinuance. Please note the LTN1150, LTN1300, LTN050AC and LTN1120AC power packs/transformers have exceeded their warranty periods and are no longer covered.
